Dioses on Peruvian cinemas from October 30th
This thursday October 30th, Dioses will open theatrically throughout all the Cineplanet chain in Lima. After participating at Locarno, San Sebastian, Toronto and Biarritz, where it won the Best Film Award, Josué Méndez’s second feature film finally arrives to Peru’s audience.
Dioses wins Grand Prix at Biarritz!
Dioses won last saturday the “El Abrazo” Award for Best Film at the 17° Biarritz Film Festival, given by a Jury presided by french actress Elsa Zylberstein. This award will support the film’s distribution in France.

Dioses in the Official Competition of Biarritz
Biarritz Film Festival has selected Dioses to compete in its Official section, in the next edition of the important Latin American event which takes place in France, on September 29th - October 5th.

Dioses wins two awards at home!
Last friday Dioses was the big peruvian winner at the closure of the Lima Film Festival. Dioses was awarded the CONACINE Award for the Best Peruvian Feature for the period 2007-2008, and the FX DESIGN Audience Award which secures support for the sound post production of Josué Méndez’s next film.
Dioses headed for Toronto
Dioses has been selected to participate at the Vanguard Programme of 2008’s Toronto International Film Festival. Toronto takes place September 4 - 13.
Dioses selected for San Sebastian
San Sebastian International Film Festival confirmed the selection of Dioses to compete in the Horizontes Section of the Spanish festival. This section is a selection of the most important Latin American films of the year. The 56th edition of the festival will take place September 18-27.
